It is said that Jesus saved us and that Jesus died for us. But the implications are that Jesus took our sins away and are usually lost upon us. That we should be upon the cross for our sins whether small or massive, whether be brake man’s laws or God’s laws we should be on the cross. Why would we want to suffer a fate so merciless, so painful, and so agonizing?
Jesus willingly chose to do this for us. He felt human emotions in the Garden of Gethsemane so much that blood poured from his skin. Yet he willingly accepted God’s decision that this was the only way to atone for mankind’s great sin. To take upon his shoulders the weight of the world.
The stakes are high. It was mankind’s spirit that was in jeopardy of eternal damnation to be heirs of satan or restoration heirs of Christ. Though the world may be against us, Christ died for us, so we may live again in eternity. Our spirit may never die but live on through Christ who is in us.
But, you may say my sins are not that great, there are others whose sins are greater than mine, But God has seen your heart and all sin is great no matter the small or the large, it is the same. But we have hope in Jesus Christ that God gave us grace. His grace says that so he; Jesus died and rose again so that we may live in paradise with the Father who is in us.
For your consideration:
Romans 8: 38 For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons,[a] neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, (39) Neither height nor depth nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 8: 15 The Spirit you received does not make you slaves so that you live in fear again; rather, the Spirit you received brought about your adoption to sonship. And by him, we cry, “Abba, Father.” (16) The Spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children. (17) Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory.
