The bounty of God’s love on Thanksgiving

The bounty of God’s love on Thanksgiving.

As I write, I am reminded of God’s love. The people who we now remember as Pilgrims were desperate and called upon God’s grace for the long voyage to a new land. They had sold all that they could and chose to take passage on a ship with very little with them, some I am sure with just luggage of clothing and perhaps a sentiment or two; a picture or jewelry.

We Americans give thanks to those brave and hearty enough to withstand the changes of our great nation known as Thanksgiving, whereas; the pilgrims and Indians together as a feast of prayerful recognition to our God and their great Spirit, the same God; for all that they had endured and a future to come.
